SeaKing Boatbuilders has been building from the water’s edge since 1958. The Seven Meter Cross is the latest expression of that history — a new generation of boat, designed and built at the company’s Leigh-on-Sea yard.
Alongside the 7MX programme, SeaKing is executing a deliberate expansion of the yard’s manufacturing, propulsion, onboard technology and commercial capability. xTool, Rockford Marine UK, Propulsion development and SeaKing Stores each form part of that programme, with every addition selected to strengthen the boats, the build process and the operation behind them.
The result is a deliberately low-volume boatbuilder with greater control over design, manufacture, systems and supply — and a yard being equipped for the next generation of SeaKing boats.

SeaKing Boatbuilders is launching SeaKing Stores from its waterfront yard in Leigh-on-Sea — bringing marine supply, specialist equipment, advanced manufacturing and product demonstration together under one roof. The operation will support both SeaKing’s own boatbuilding programme and the wider marine industry, with chandlery, materials, tools and specialist products alongside Rockford Marine UK, xTool Professional and SeaKing’s growing in-house fabrication capability. Rockford Fosgate makes major move into UK marine
SeaKing Boatbuilders has been appointed Rockford Marine UK, following a new agreement with Audiomotive, Rockford Fosgate’s exclusive UK distributor.
The appointment gives SeaKing marine exclusivity in the UK and marks a major move for Rockford Fosgate into the British marine industry.
Rockford Fosgate is one of the world’s leading performance audio brands, with an established international reputation across automotive and marine.
SeaKing will now place Rockford Fosgate firmly into the UK marine market, working directly with boatbuilders, yards, installers, designers and owners across the country, backed by Audiomotive’s distribution and technical support.
The first major showcase will be SeaKing’s new 7MX, carrying a substantial Rockford Fosgate system and demonstrating the capability of the range in a serious high-performance marine application.

SeaKing appointed UK sales partner for xTool Professional
SeaKing Boatbuilders has entered into a strategic partnership with xTool, combining advanced manufacturing capability at its Leigh-on-Sea yard with a significant new commercial role in the UK. SeaKing will act as a UK sales partner for xTool’s Professional and MetalFab equipment, providing demonstration, technical understanding and direct industry access as it develops into a principal UK sales resource for the range. xTool technology is also being integrated directly into SeaKing’s own boatbuilding and manufacturing operation, creating a working demonstration environment rather than a conventional showroom.

SeaKing Boatbuilders is delighted to be joining British Marine.
The membership places SeaKing within the established network of British boatbuilders, marine businesses and industry specialists as we continue the development of the Seven Meter Cross and the renewal of our waterfront yard in Leigh-on-Sea.
SeaKing is also joining Superyacht UK, British Marine East Anglia and the British Marine Boat Retailers and Brokers Association.
